Melbourne, Australia, 4 April 2024: Hysata was honoured to win the SME Sustainable Leadership Award at the 35th National Banksia Foundation Sustainability Awards at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 4 April 2024.
The evening was a wonderful celebration of initiatives, individuals and organisations that are leading the way in sustainability.
The SME Sustainable Leadership Award acknowledges outstanding achievements by SMEs that integrate sustainability principles into their business activities. We are honoured to have been recognised for our leadership and influence in this space, and alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The theme of the evening was optimism and hope – both needed for the global transition to net zero. With Hysata’s breakthrough 95% efficient electrolyser system, and incredible work of other businesses in the room on the night, this optimism is clearly backed by conviction and action.
The award was accepted on behalf of Hysata by our Head of Strategy and Corporate Affairs Prachi Agrawal and General Manager Finance Julie Farrugia. IP Group Australia’s Nadine Courmadias and Shane Meaney were also in attendance to celebrate Hysata’s win. It was great to run into Dr Alan Finkel, patron of these awards, and a valued member of Hysata’s Global Advisory Council.
